TAV Macedonia volunteers provide food aid to homeless individuals

Employees from TAV Macedonia and TAV Airports organized a humanitarian initiative to support vulnerable populations in North Macedonia. Through the ‘TAV Cooks’ initiative and the ‘Hope On Board’ corporate volunteering program, volunteers prepared 170 food packages for individuals at the Momin Potok Homeless Center.

The center is operated by the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia – Skopje City Red Cross. This activity was organized in observance of World Homelessness Day, which is commemorated annually on October 10.

Nejat Kurt, General Manager of TAV Macedonia, stated that the role of an airport operator extends beyond connecting destinations to contributing to the welfare of the communities they serve. He emphasized that the collaboration with the Red Cross aims to demonstrate how solidarity and compassion can strengthen communities.
