Tavşanlı karate athletes secure 7 trophies and 19 Turkish rankings

Karate athletes from the Tavşanlı Sports Club in Kütahya have achieved significant success, securing 7 trophies and 19 rankings in Turkish championships. The group, including their coaches, recently visited Kütahya Provincial Director of Youth and Sports, Bülent Küçük, to present their achievements.

Key accomplishments include 6 Turkish championships and a 7th place finish in the WKF World Youth League. Notably, the athletes earned a second-place finish in the Women's Senior Team Kata category, marking the first senior-level ranking in the history of karate in Tavşanlı and Kütahya.

In addition to domestic success, the athletes represented Turkey in international competitions held in Egypt, Croatia, and the United Arab Emirates. Several members also earned spots on national team rosters across the U14, Hope, and Youth categories.
