Tavas Zeybek, Culture and Art Festival begins in Denizli

The 8th Tavas Zeybek, Culture and Art Festival has commenced in the Tavas district of Denizli with a large-scale parade. The procession began on Tavas Hükümet Street and concluded at the Tavas Municipality Square, where a wreath was laid at the Atatürk Monument.

Following the parade, the Tavas Municipality Folk Dance team performed the traditional Zeybek dance. Tavas Mayor Kadir Tatık addressed the crowd, emphasizing themes of unity and togetherness.

The festival schedule includes folk dance performances, concerts by artists such as Rafet El Roman, Merve Özbey, and Emir Can İğrek, competitions for Tavas sheep yogurt and melon, and Kızılca horse races.
