Tavistock sports clubs secure victories in rugby and football

Tavistock RFC 1st XV secured an 18-16 rugby victory against Exmouth Quins at Sandy Park. Tries from Andy Shuttkacker and Logan Sulsh, alongside a conversion and two penalties from Freddie Fuller, helped the Moorlanders avoid a slump in the standings. Coach Leigh Puttock credited the win to forward power and defensive grit.

In football, Torpoint Athletic continued their winning streak with a 4-2 victory over Tavistock 2 in the Western League Premier Division.
