Tawang to host 14th International Tourism Mart in 2026

The 14th International Tourism Mart (ITM) is scheduled to take place in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, from October 29 to 31, 2026. Organized by the Ministry of Tourism in partnership with the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, the event marks the Mart's return to Tawang after a 13-year hiatus since its second edition in 2013.

The three-day event aims to promote North East India's natural, cultural, and adventure tourism to both domestic and international markets. More than 200 participants are expected to attend, including 43 international buyers representing 22 countries, such as the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, France, and Australia.

The program will feature destination presentations from all eight North Eastern states—Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura—to facilitate business interactions and strengthen tourism linkages across the region.
