Tax authorities set income tax deadlines in Argentina and Chile

Tax authorities in Argentina and Chile have established specific deadlines for income tax declarations for the 2025 fiscal year.

In Argentina, ARCA has set September 22 as the deadline for individuals and undivided estates to submit their 2025 income tax returns. Additionally, the first installment for 2026 must be paid by September 24. While the submission deadline has been extended, the deadline for paying any outstanding balances from the previous fiscal year remains July 27.

In Chile, the tax calendar for individuals is determined by the last two digits of the Tax Identification Number (NIT). Deadlines for September 2026 range from September 21 to September 28, depending on the specific NIT digits. Furthermore, due to an earthquake on August 10, 2026, an extension has been granted for taxpayers with NITs ending in 01 through 26, allowing them to file between October 27 and November 13, 2026, provided they meet specific jurisdictional criteria.
