Tax incentive programs in Brazil hold monthly prize draws

Two separate tax incentive programs in Brazil are conducting prize draws to encourage fiscal citizenship and combat informality.

In Rio Grande do Sul, the Nota Fiscal Gaúcha (NFG) program is holding its 169th monthly draw. The event distributes R$ 200,000 in prizes among 121 winners. This includes 111 participants receiving R$ 50,000 each, ten receiving R$ 5,000, and one hundred receiving R$ 1,000. The draw is part of the third Fiscal Education Seminar of Canoas.

In Marechal Cândido Rondon, the Nota Fiscal Premiada program is conducting its sixth draw of 2026. This campaign distributes R$ 8,200 across ten prizes, with the top prize valued at R$ 3,200. The program aims to increase municipal revenue by encouraging citizens to request electronic service invoices with their CPF included, which helps fund local public services.
