Tax relief programs announced in Caraguatatuba and Sergipe

The City of Caraguatatuba has set a deadline of October 29 for taxpayers to join its Fiscal Recovery Program (Refis). The program offers discounts on interest and fines ranging from 50% to 100% for tax and non-tax credits due by December 31, 2025. Payments can be made in a single installment or up to 60 monthly installments. In-person applications must be submitted at the Municipal Palace, while online registration is available through the Citizen Portal.

In the state of Sergipe, the 'Rode Bem' program is accepting registrations until December 31. This initiative, a partnership between the State Secretariat for Social Assistance, Inclusion and Citizenship (Seasic) and the State Secretariat of Finance (Sefaz), provides IPVA tax benefits for motorcycle owners. To qualify, applicants must reside in Sergipe, own a nationally manufactured motorcycle with an engine capacity between 50cc and 165cc, and have a monthly income of up to two minimum wages. Registration must be completed online via the Seasic website.
