Taxi drivers hold slow-moving protest on RN12

Independent taxi drivers in Côtes-d’Armor organized a slow-moving protest, or ‘opération escargot’, on the RN12 highway on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The demonstration began at Trémuson airport and proceeded toward Saint-Brieuc, with scheduled stops at Trégueux and the Brézillet roundabout.

The protest is part of a broader movement of professional sectors seeking compensation for rising fuel costs. Specifically, the federation is demanding a €500 subsidy to offset increased energy expenses.
