Tay-K announces new album recorded via telephone from prison

Rapper Tay-K, whose real name is Taymor McIntyre, has announced his upcoming album, ‘#MonstersUnderMyBed’, scheduled for release on November 13, 2026. The project is his first full-length release in nearly a decade and was recorded over a three-year period through telephone sessions with various producers.

McIntyre is currently serving concurrent 55-year and 80-year prison sentences at the John B. Connally Unit in Texas. These sentences stem from his involvement in a 2016 robbery that resulted in a death and a 2017 fatal shooting.

The announcement included a promotional trailer and the SoundCloud-exclusive single, ‘F**K U’. The album follows several 2026 singles and a recent collaboration with Dominic Fike on the track ‘SPOTLIGHT / INNER CHILD’.
