Vietnam provinces implement administrative and regulatory reforms

Various Vietnamese provinces are implementing administrative and regulatory reforms to address challenges following local government restructuring. In Vũng Áng, authorities are proposing temporary parking for freight vehicles on National Highway 12C to mitigate traffic safety risks and accidents caused by heavy vehicle congestion near the Lào – Việt International Port.

In Tây Ninh, the provincial People's Council is tightening construction management at the grassroots level to handle increased workloads in planning and licensing. Meanwhile, Quảng Trị's Department of Education and Training has signed a coordination agreement to support boarding schools in border areas, focusing on national security and student safety.

Regarding resource management, Lâm Đồng officials have warned that heads of local authorities may face inspection if they fail to effectively manage or utilize surplus public land and buildings. Additionally, the Department of Land Management has emphasized the need for high-quality, accurate data in the national land database, noting that human resource shortages remain a significant bottleneck in the digitization process. In Hanoi, officials are engaging with small and medium enterprises to advocate for more transparent business environments and streamlined administrative procedures to support sustainable growth.
