Tayab Khan wins 30 million dirham jackpot in Abu Dhabi

Tayab Khan, a 26-year-old security guard in Abu Dhabi, has won a jackpot of 30 million UAE dirhams, approximately 213 billion VND, through The UAE Lottery. Khan won by correctly selecting seven numbers in the ‘Lucky Day’ draw held on May 27.

Khan, who organized a group called ‘Future Millionaires’ to pool money for lottery tickets, decided to share the winnings with the four friends in his group. He discovered the win via email, noting that he initially did not expect much as he had received emails regarding smaller prizes in the past.

Khan stated that the experience feels ‘like a dream’ and that he was physically shaking upon seeing the amount. His first call was to his uncle, who helped him establish his life in the UAE.
