Taylor Frankie Paul Faces Utah Child Welfare Petition Over Custody
Reality‑TV personality Taylor Frankie Paul was granted a three‑year restraining order against Cru Eaton, a friend of her ex‑partner Dakota Mortensen, after he allegedly shared a private video of a domestic dispute.
Separately, Utah’s Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) filed a petition asking a juvenile court to take jurisdiction over Paul’s three children, arguing they meet the state’s definition of abused, neglected or dependent. The petition seeks protective supervision, the appointment of a guardian ad litem, and an expedited hearing. Paul and Mortensen already have mutual protective orders and are engaged in an ongoing custody battle over their son.
The developments come as the star’s fifth season of “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” remains on hold and other television prospects are uncertain.
