Taylor Frankie Paul Faces Utah Custody Fight Amid Abuse Allegations

Reality‑TV personality Taylor Frankie Paul, known from "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives," is involved in ongoing custody disputes over her three children with ex‑husband Tate Paul and former partner Dakota Mortensen. In an Instagram video she said some media reports are true while others are false, denying, for example, that she forced her daughter Indy to change her brother Ever’s diapers. Utah’s Division of Child and Family Services has asked a juvenile court to determine that the children are "abused, neglected or dependent" and to impose protective supervision and a guardian ad litem. Court documents also request protective orders for the children. Paul’s mother, Liann May, issued a statement calling the accusations "entirely false" and arguing that the case wastes resources that could help truly needy children. The Salt Lake County District Attorney declined to file criminal charges, stating the juvenile court is the proper venue. Following a recent court revision, Paul has regained extended unsupervised visitation with her son Ever.
