Taylor Lapilus and Mitch McKee to fight for inaugural PFL Bantamweight title

The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has announced that the inaugural PFL Bantamweight World Championship will take place on December 19 at the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France. The main event features French fighter Taylor ‘Double Impact’ Lapilus (25-4) against undefeated American Mitch ‘Merciless’ McKee (11-0).

Lapilus, who joined the PFL after competing in the UFC, enters the bout on a six-fight winning streak. McKee, training out of Kill Cliff FC, holds an 11-0 record with six victories coming via KO/TKO.

This event, PFL Lyon, will serve as the final competition held under the PFL banner. Following a merger between the PFL and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), all future events will be organized under the MVP name starting January 1, 2027.
