Taylor Mayhew wins ARCA Menards Series West race at Las Vegas

Taylor Mayhew secured an improbable victory in the ARCA Menards Series West Kyle Busch Classic at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. After an engine change during practice forced him to start 23rd, Mayhew worked through the field to reach the front during overtime attempts.

The race concluded with a dramatic second overtime attempt. Mayhew passed Robbie Kennealy on the final lap to win by inches. Kennealy finished second, followed by Cole Denton in third.

Trevor Huddleston, the series championship points leader, led much of the race but was unable to secure the win following late-race cautions and contact. The event marked the fourth consecutive ARCA Menards Series West race decided by a last-lap pass.
