Taylor Sheridan announces two new films, Visalia and Capture the Flag

Screenwriter and producer Taylor Sheridan, known for the TV series Yellowstone, is returning to feature‑film writing after a five‑year hiatus. He will serve as writer on two upcoming movies produced by Bosque Ranch Productions and 101 Studios.

The first film, **Visalia**, follows a young Cuban woman who flees her homeland for the United States, only to be forced back by a sudden political shift, confronting the personal cost of migration. The second film, **Capture the Flag**, centers on a NASA engineer tasked with building a lunar‑return spacecraft while navigating moral dilemmas presented by a technology billionaire.

Sheridan will no longer write the daily scripts for Yellowstone but will stay on as an executive producer, allowing him to explore these distinct stories far from the Dutton ranch setting.
