Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding celebrated with Empire State Building blue lights

The Empire State Building was illuminated in a light‑blue sparkle display on Friday to mark the wedding of pop star Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The building’s Instagram account captioned the show “Her something blue 🩵,” referencing the traditional wedding element.

The ceremony took place at Madison Square Garden in New York City, where a “Just & Married!” sign greeted guests. Approximately 1,000 friends and family attended, with celebrities such as Dakota Johnson, Zoë Kravitz, Hugh Grant and Jimmy Fallon noted among the crowd. Swift and Kelce wore Christian Dior Haute Couture, and comedian Adam Sandler officiated the nuptials.

The blue lighting was part of a broader celebration that included a rehearsal dinner for about 100 close friends, pink drapes and floral displays, and numerous social‑media reactions praising the iconic skyline tribute.
