Taylor Swift campaigns for Eras Tour film at private Emmy event

Taylor Swift hosted an intimate private event at the Ross House in Los Angeles to campaign for her Disney+ special, ‘The Eras Tour: The Final Show’. The event was attended by approximately 50 Emmy voters and featured a discussion regarding the production's goal to preserve the sense of escapism and freedom experienced by fans during the concert tour.

Swift spoke in support of director Glenn Weiss and sound designer John Ross, both of whom received nominations for their work on the project. Swift herself is nominated as both a performer and a producer. The special has received five Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special, Outstanding Picture Editing for Variety Programming, Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special, and Outstanding Technical Direction and Camerawork for a Special.

During the no-phone gathering, Swift reportedly performed songs for the attendees to demonstrate the connection between the performer and the audience.
