Taylor Swift wedding toast by Lena Dunham sparks divided reaction

At a rehearsal dinner for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on July 2 at Madison Square Garden’s Infosys Theater, writer Lena Dunham delivered a toast that included the line “American football is just straight guys reenacting gay porn.” The comment produced a mixed response – some guests gasped while others laughed – and divided the room.

Swift praised the joke, calling it “genius,” and the couple’s close friends, including several NFL players such as Jason Kelce, Kareem Hunt, George Kittle and Cooper Kupp, were in attendance. The wedding ceremony took place the following day at the same venue.
