Seattle Mariners trade for Taylor Ward, release veterans Garver and Refsnyder

The Seattle Mariners completed a trade‑deadline overhaul, acquiring outfielder Taylor Ward from the Baltimore Orioles. In exchange, Seattle sent three right‑handed pitchers—reliever Alex Hoppe, and minor‑league arms Harrison Kreiling and Brock Moore—to Baltimore.
