Taz Skylar to headline FIC Gáldar 2026 closing gala

Actor Taz Skylar, recognized for his role as Sanji in the Netflix adaptation of ‘One Piece’, is a featured guest at the 2026 Gáldar International Film Festival (FIC Gáldar). Skylar is scheduled to participate in the festival's closing gala on Saturday, October 17, at the Polideportivo Juan Vega Mateos, where he will present one of the evening's awards. The event will be hosted by comedian Carlos Latre.

During his visit to Gran Canaria, Skylar has engaged in local activities, including diving in Sardina del Norte and running through the streets of Gáldar. The festival has also included various educational activities, such as workshops for children and youth, as well as acting workshops led by other professionals like Antonio Pagudo.
