Tazza: Beelzebub's Song to conclude film series on the 23rd

The film ‘Tazza: Beelzebub’s Song’, the final installment in the 20-year ‘Tazza’ series, is scheduled for release on the 23rd. The story follows Jang Tae-young (played by Byun Yo-han), a man who loses everything due to the betrayal of his close friend Park Tae-young (played by Noh Jae-won) during a successful metaverse casino venture. After falling into ruin, Jang seeks revenge through a final showdown in the global gambling circuit.

Unlike previous entries in the franchise that focused heavily on gambling techniques, this film emphasizes the psychological tension and the deteriorating relationship between the two protagonists. Director Choi Kook-hee noted that the film is intended as entertainment for adult audiences rather than a family film, due to its mature themes and rating.

To prepare for the role, Byun Yo-han studied professional gamblers' patterns, trained in hold'em hand techniques with poker experts, and underwent physical training that included losing over 10kg. The cast also includes Jo Woo-jin, Yoon Kyung-ho, and rapper Swings, who makes his acting debut.
