Tazza: Song of Beelzebub to conclude film series on September 23

The crime thrillerTazza: Song of Beelzebub’ is set to conclude the 20-year film series on September 23, coinciding with the Chuseok holiday. Directed by Choi Kook-hee and based on the manhwa by Heo Young-man, the film follows a revenge plot between two former best friends, Jang Tae-young (Byun Yo-han) and Park Tae-young (Noh Jae-won), within the global gambling circuit.

Production details revealed in a recent behind-the-scenes video highlight the intense preparation involved. To ensure authenticity, the cast trained for months under professional poker player Radpak. Byun Yo-han performed all card-handling scenes without a hand double, while Noh Jae-won and co-star Hong Da-o practiced extensively with chips and cards.

The film features international locations, including filming in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and involves a diverse cast including Japanese actress Miyoshi Ayaka and Vietnamese actress Hong Da-o. Unlike previous installments, this final chapter is described as a standalone story focusing on human nature, desire, and the breakdown of friendship.
