Tábor municipal coalition formed by Naše Česko, ANO, and partners
A new governing coalition, named ‘For the Development of Tábor’, has been officially formed in the city of Tábor. The coalition agreement was signed by representatives from Naše Česko, ANO, Společně pro Tábor, and Olga Bastlová, who was elected under the Šance pro Tábor grouping.
The coalition holds a majority in the municipal assembly with 14 out of 27 seats, though it may effectively rely on up to 16 votes. Ondřej Semerák, leader of Naše Česko, is expected to become the new mayor, with Hana Randová (ANO) and Stanislav Kotrčka (Společně pro Tábor) set to serve as deputy mayors. Olga Bastlová will take a position as a councilor.
Key priorities for the new leadership include assessing the city's finances and potentially purchasing the stadium from the second-division football club to bring it under municipal management. The coalition has set a 60-day deadline to publish a joint program statement. The previous governing group, Tábor 2020, will move into the opposition.
