TBS Distrito 2026 clubs announce coaching lineups

The eight clubs participating in the 50th edition of the National District Superior Basketball Tournament (TBS Distrito 2026) have finalized their coaching staffs. The tournament, marking its golden jubilee, is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 15, at the Arena BanReservas.

Melvyn López will return to lead the defending champion Mauricio Báez, seeking a fourth consecutive title which would bring the team to an 11th championship and a historic league record. Julio Duquela and Carlos Payano will also continue their roles with Bameso and Los Prados, respectively.

Other coaching updates include José ‘Pancho’ Fortuna taking charge of Rafael Barias, Yoel Feliz moving to San Carlos, Carlos Medina leading Huellas del Siglo, and Abraham Disla returning to direct El Millón.
