TCab Tech and SIDEC partner to advance eVTOL projects in Malaysia

TCab Tech and the Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation (SIDEC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to advance the commercialization of the E20 eVTOL in Malaysia. The partnership aims to develop Malaysia’s low altitude economy ecosystem.

As part of its Southeast Asia strategy, TCab Tech will establish a regional business center in Malaysia to support commercial development and industry collaboration. The company’s E20 eVTOL is a five-seat tilt-rotor aircraft designed for tourist routes, intercity travel, and intracity travel. The aircraft is currently undergoing the Type Certification process with the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

To mark its entry into the Malaysian market, a month-long showcase titled ‘Malaysian Engineers, Global Impact: TCab Tech E20 eVTOL Showcase’ was launched at IOI City Mall in Putrajaya. Under the agreement, SIDEC will utilize its local innovation networks to assist TCab Tech in engaging with government agencies and the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM).
