TCB Beverages to build first Spanish brewery in Utrera

TCB Beverages, a German-based group, is planning to construct its first Spanish brewery in Utrera, Seville, through its subsidiary Cervecera de Andalucía. The project involves a 10 million euro investment and is expected to become the second-largest brewing and packaging facility in Andalusia, following Heineken’s plant in Mairena del Alcor.

The facility, located in the La Dehesilla industrial estate, will initially have an annual capacity of 75 million liters, with plans to expand to 150 million liters. Production will focus on cans, non-returnable glass bottles, and kegs intended for private labels for large supermarkets and distribution chains. TCB Beverages currently operates plants in Germany, France, and the United States.

A technical report by Ayesa indicates the project is technically, economically, and environmentally viable, provided specific corrective measures are implemented. The plant is expected to consume approximately 7,875 GWh of electricity and 300,010 cubic meters of water annually. While the company originally aimed for a January 2027 launch, pending administrative procedures for environmental certification may delay the opening until 2028.
