TCE-AC signs Microsoft contract and issues municipal fines

The Court of Accounts of the State of Acre (TCE-AC) has signed a contract worth R$ 4,264,747.20 with Brasoftware Informática Ltda. for Microsoft software licenses and related services. The three-year agreement includes subscriptions, updates, and official technical support. The contract, signed by President Dulcinéa Benício de Araújo Barbosa, may be extended for up to 10 years under federal law.

Separately, the TCE-AC has issued fines of R$ 2,848.00 to officials in the municipalities of Porto Walter and Assis Brasil. The penalties were imposed by the Court's 2nd Chamber due to the untimely submission of payroll and personnel data to the Public Accounts Information System (SICAP), violating established resolutions.
