TCE/SC approves Navegantes accounts and elects new leadership

The Court of Accounts of Santa Catarina (TCE/SC) has issued a favorable preliminary opinion regarding the 2025 accounts of the Navegantes City Hall. The audit concluded that the municipality does not present significant inconsistencies affecting its budgetary, financial, or patrimonial position, noting that operations respected public accounting principles. The final judgment now rests with the Municipal Chamber of Councilors.

Separately, the TCE/SC has elected its new leadership for the 2027-2029 biennium. José Nei Alberton Ascari was elected president, Adircélio de Moraes Ferreira Júnior will serve as vice-president, and Aderson Flores was chosen as the general corregidor. The new administration is scheduled to take office in February 2027, with a focus on modernizing public management control and promoting preventive governance.
