TCGCON 2026 convention celebrates card games in São Paulo

The TCGCON 2026 convention took place on September 12 and 13 at the State Innovation Center in Vila Leopoldina, São Paulo. The event focused specifically on Trading Card Games (TCGs), featuring titles such as Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, and Gundam.

The convention included various activities across two floors, such as an Artist Alley, lectures, tournaments, specialized stores, quizzes, and Meet & Greet sessions. The event attracted a diverse demographic, including teenagers, adults, and families. Unlike larger geek conventions where card games are a subset of a broader program, TCGCON positioned card games as the central focus, featuring live commentary and large screens for tournament matches.
