Tchoukball clubs and digital tools expand sport's presence

The Association cantonale genevoise de tchoukball has launched the ‘Tchouk Score’ website to facilitate the upcoming ‘Tournoi de la Rentrée’. Scheduled for October 10 and 11, 2026, at the Centre sportif de la Queue-d’Arve, the event will feature 233 matches across various categories, including M8, M10, M12, M14, and Open/Elite divisions. The digital platform allows participants and spectators to access match schedules, assigned courts, competing teams, designated referees, and real-time results and rankings.

In the Valdahon region, the Tchoukball Club Comtois (TCC) continues to promote the sport, which was originally developed in Switzerland by Dr. Hermann Brandt and Michel Favre. Designed as a low-injury alternative to handball and volleyball, tchoukball emphasizes technique and mobility by prohibiting physical contact and interceptions. The TCC has established a strong competitive record, including four French championship titles and seven French Cups, and is actively working to increase the sport's visibility.
