TCL CSOT unveils first 27‑inch 4K 120Hz IJP OLED monitor, marking printed‑OLED breakthrough

TCL CSOT and MSI introduced the MSI PRO MAX OLED 271UPJW12, the world’s first 27‑inch 4K 120 Hz inkjet‑printed (IJP) OLED professional monitor, at ChinaJoy 2026. The display offers 1,000 nits peak brightness, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, 99% DCI‑P3 colour gamut, Delta E ≤ 2 accuracy and an infinite contrast ratio, delivering pixel‑sharp text and deep blacks for content creation and gaming. It includes MSI’s OLED Auto Care protection, a built‑in KVM switch, picture‑in‑picture modes and a USB‑C port with Power Delivery, plus an ergonomic stand.

The launch follows TCL CSOT’s claim that its printed‑OLED process has reached mass‑production yields and cost levels comparable to mature manufacturing, using ink‑jet technology that recovers about 90% of organic material versus roughly 30% for traditional vapor‑deposition. An investment of roughly €3.8 billion is building a new line in Guangzhou, with serial production slated for Q4 2027. The first notebook and monitor panels using the technology are expected in 2026, and Lenovo has already released a notebook featuring a printed‑OLED panel. Analysts see the cost advantage—up to 35% lower panel prices—as a potential challenge to the current dominance of Samsung Display and LG Display in the OLED market.
