TCL introduces NXTPAPER smartphones with e-reader modes
TCL has introduced the NXTPAPER series, featuring the NXTPAPER 70 Pro and 60 Ultra smartphones. These devices utilize NXTPAPER 4.0 matte LCD technology designed to mimic the appearance of electronic paper while maintaining the fluidity and color capabilities of a standard display.
The NXTPAPER 70 Pro includes a physical button that allows users to toggle between full color, a paper palette, and a monochromatic view. A specialized “Max Ink” mode creates a simplified reading environment by limiting notifications and distractions, potentially offering up to seven days of reading on a single charge. The 70 Pro features a 6.9-inch 120 Hz display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, and an IP68 rating. The larger 60 Ultra model boasts a 7.2-inch screen, a Dimensity 7400 chipset, and support for the T-Pen Magic stylus.
The NXTPAPER 70 Pro is expected to be available in France starting in the first quarter of 2026, with a starting price of 299 euros.
