TCL launches budget Tab A1 Plus NxtPaper tablet in the United States

TCL introduced its low‑cost Tab A1 Plus NxtPaper tablet in the United States at a price of $399. The device features a 12.2‑inch IPS display with a 2400 × 1600 resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and 500 nits brightness, using the company’s NXTPAPER technology that mimics paper to reduce eye strain.

It is built around a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD up to 2 TB. The tablet houses a 10,000 mAh battery that supports 33 W USB‑C fast charging. Other hardware includes an IP54‑rated aluminum unibody, 8 MP front and rear cameras, four speakers, two microphones, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi‑Fi 5 and a T‑Pen 2 stylus for drawing and note‑taking.
