TCL launches Q95K flagship soundbar with 22 speakers and B&O tuning, China‑only release

TCL unveiled its new Q95K flagship soundbar at a product launch conference in China. The system features an 11.1.4‑channel architecture, delivering 1,420 W peak power through 22 independent speakers, including a main bar with seven horizontal channels, two overhead channels, a subwoofer channel, and wireless surround units covering rear, side and overhead positions. The unit incorporates a three‑way acoustic design covering 30 Hz–20 kHz with distortion under 1 %, using neodymium magnets and aluminum diaphragms for clarity. Bang & Olufsen collaborated on the audio profile and algorithm, providing spatial‑audio tuning and a Beosonic Mood Mixer. Connectivity includes HDMI 2.1 with eARC, Wi‑Fi 6, AirPlay 2, and the device can be wall‑mounted or placed on a desk. The Q95K is priced at 7,999 yuan (about $1,200) and is currently available only in China, with no confirmed release for the United States. TCL also announced two lower‑tier models, the Q85K (7.1.2 channels, 5,999 yuan) and Q75K (7.1.2 channels, 4,699 yuan).
