TCL Philippines unveils A400 Series TVs with animated Amorsolo artwork

TCL Philippines introduced its new A400 Series QD‑MiniLED televisions at the "Heritage in Every Frame" event held in Manila’s Centro de Turismo Intramuros on the country’s 128th Independence Day. The launch highlighted the TVs’ high‑resolution display by showing digitally animated versions of National Artist Fernando Amorsolo’s iconic paintings, such as Carabao Riding in Sunset, Noonday Meal, Tinikling, Dalagang Bukid, The Blind Man, Fruit Market and Bataan.

Chief Executive Officer Peter Chen said the A400 Series is meant to serve as a centerpiece for the home, blending entertainment with art through features like an Art Gallery mode. Visual artist and digital animator Mark Cañega led the remastering of Amorsolo’s works, adding subtle motion while preserving the original style. The event also featured a panel with actress Heaven Peralejo, content creator Jenny Yeo and Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo, who praised the TVs’ ability to display artwork that looks like a living canvas.
