TCL releases new Mini-LED TV and matte OLED smartphone
TCL is expanding its presence in the consumer electronics market with new hardware offerings in the television and smartphone sectors.
The TCL C7K is a Mini-LED television positioned as a high-performance option for under 1,000 euros. The device features QD-Mini-LED technology, which utilizes a large number of individually dimmed LED groups to enhance contrast. Testing indicates the model provides high HDR brightness, 4K gaming capabilities up to 144 Hz, and strong image quality, though it lacks certain features such as a stereo output or USB recording function.
In the mobile sector, the TCL P80 Ultra smartphone features a matte OLED display priced under 500 euros. This display utilizes a special nanotexture to reduce reflections and glare, providing a paper-like feel and improved visibility in sunlight. The technology is supported by TCL’s subsidiary, CSOT, a leading display manufacturer.
