TCL showcases Mini LED TVs and foldable display technology

TCL is expanding its presence in the consumer electronics market through both display technology manufacturing and retail promotional events.

In Japan, TCL is hosting an "Obon Large Screen Experience Festival" at Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Akiba from August 8 to August 11, 2026. The event showcases the company's latest SQD-Mini LED television series, which features quantum dot technology, Bang & Olufsen sound tuning, and Google TV with Gemini integration. The promotion includes a lottery for original goods and cashback incentives for purchasers.

On the manufacturing side, TCL's display division, TCL CSOT (TCL China Star Optoelectronics Technology), is playing a critical role in the foldable smartphone market. The company develops the flexible OLED panels used in devices such as the Motorola razr fold. These ultra-thin flexible displays are designed to minimize visible creases while maintaining lightweight and ergonomic profiles for mobile users.
