TCL unveils P80 Pro and Ultra smartphones with NXTPAPER AMOLED
TCL has unveiled its new P80 Pro and P80 Ultra smartphones, featuring the company’s latest NXTPAPER AMOLED display technology. This advancement brings the matte, paper-like texture and anti-glare properties previously found on LCD panels to AMOLED technology, combining high contrast and deep blacks with eye-friendly visibility.
The P80 Ultra serves as the flagship model, distinguished by an enhanced camera system that includes a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Both models include a dedicated ‘NXTPAPER KEY’ to activate a reading mode that silences notifications and limits background app refreshes to aid concentration and battery life.
Technical specifications for the P80 Pro include a 6.83-inch 1.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Elite chipset, and a 5800mAh battery with 45W fast charging. The series was developed in collaboration with designer Chris Lefteri, featuring a satin-finish polycarbonate back designed to resist fingerprints.
