TCM Racing Team expands operations in Argentine motorsport

TCM Racing Team, led by Javier Ciabattari and Marcelo La Manna, is expanding its operations within Argentine motorsport. The Córdoba-based team is adding Santiago Álvarez, who will drive a Chevrolet Camaro, following his departure from Uranga Racing. The team is currently working toward a larger structure for 2027, with goals to field two or three cars across Turismo Carretera and TC Pista. Plans include building a new Ford Mustang from scratch.

Separately, driver Simón Volpi is exploring a return to racing. Following a potential test at the Paraná racetrack, Volpi is negotiating with the Werner team. While his primary goal is competing in TC Mouras, the move depends on securing necessary budget. Additionally, work is underway to repair a motor for the Mar y Sierras A vehicle following a failure during a race in Azul.
