TCS iON apologizes for power outages during NEET-PG and AIIMS exams in Jaipur

TCS iON has issued an apology following severe power failures at the iDZ Sitapura examination centre in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The disruptions impacted candidates participating in the NEET-PG 2026 and the AIIMS Common Recruitment Examination (CRE) over consecutive days.

Venguswamy Ramaswamy, Head of the iON Business Unit at TCS, stated that the outages were caused by unknown local electrical issues. The company is working with electrical maintenance vendors to resolve the matter and prevent future occurrences.

In response to the disruption, AIIMS has announced that the CRE-5 examination for the affected morning shift will be re-conducted on September 7, 2026. Affected candidates will be issued revised admit cards via the official examination portal, and the re-examination will remain in Jaipur at a center to be specified in the new documentation. Additionally, the NEET-PG re-test has been scheduled for September 5.
