TCS wins ₹122.6 crore Odisha digital governance contract
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has secured a ₹122.6 crore contract from the Government of Odisha to implement OSWAS 3.0, the next generation of the state’s digital governance platform. The deal, which extends TCS’s partnership with the state for approximately six years, focuses on upgrading the Odisha State Workflow Automation System using artificial intelligence, microservices architecture, and the TCS DigiBOLT platform.
The upgraded system is designed to be mobile-first and will include Odia language support and enhanced web accessibility. Key features include workflow automation, real-time tracking, advanced analytics, and integrated digital services to facilitate electronic approvals and digital file processing.
The existing OSWAS platform currently serves more than 4,600 government offices and nearly 50,000 users. This latest iteration aims to improve interoperability between government applications and accelerate decision-making through AI-enabled capabilities.
