TCU cross country teams secure runner-up finishes

The TCU cross country teams secured runner-up finishes for both the men and women at the fourth annual John McKenzie Invitational held in Fort Worth.

On the men's side, Mohamed Kowa led the Horned Frogs with a third-place finish in the 5k, clocking a time of 15:40. He was supported by freshman Anthony Morales, who placed sixth, and Zach Troutman, who finished with a sub-16-minute time. Four other teammates placed in the top 10, contributing to a team score of 37 points.

The women's team finished second overall with 56 points. Anastacia Gonzales led the squad with an eighth-place finish. Georgia Scott, an All-American on the track, placed 11th with a time of 18:52. The team's top five finishers included Kate Selover, Megan Calhoun, and Jordan White.
