TCU defeats Grambling State 63-7 in home opener

TCU secured a 63-7 victory over Grambling State in its 2026 home opener at Amon G. Carter Stadium. The game was notable for being the hottest recorded in the stadium's history, with a kickoff temperature of 100 degrees.

Quarterback Jaden Craig led the Horned Frogs' offense, completing 24 of 31 passes for 391 yards and four touchdowns. Tight end Kari Ashley recorded a career-high 119 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The TCU rushing attack contributed 285 yards, led by Jeremy Payne with 70 yards.
