TCU leads Schooner Fall Classic after opening round

TCU holds a two-stroke lead at the Schooner Fall Classic after the opening round at Belmar Golf Club, recording a score of 10-under 270. The performance marks the second-lowest 18-hole total in the program's history. Camille Min-Gaultier, Ella Forss, and Kirstin Angosta each shot a four-under 66 to lead the Horned Frogs.

Florida State University sits in fourth place with a team score of four-under 276. Sophomore Haruhi Nakatani tied for the individual lead after shooting a career-low five-under 65, marking her first bogey-free collegiate round. Other notable performances for the Seminoles included Sophia Fullbrook with a two-under 68 and Alexandra Gazzoli with a one-under 69.

Host Oklahoma is currently in second place at eight-under, followed by Iowa State at six-under. Due to weather conditions, the second round is scheduled as a shotgun start on Sunday morning.
