TDC Ghana MD Nunekpeku denies 2028 Tema Central candidacy

Courage Makafui Nunekpeku, the Managing Director of TDC Ghana Ltd., has denied rumors that he intends to run for the Tema Central parliamentary seat in the 2028 general elections.

Nunekpeku stated that he has no interest in contesting for a parliamentary seat in Tema Central or any other constituency. He emphasized that his current priority is fulfilling his professional mandate at TDC Ghana Ltd. and supporting national development initiatives, specifically citing the ‘Better Ghana Agenda’ under President John Dramani Mahama.

This clarification follows Nunekpeku’s previous participation in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primary for the Tema Central constituency in 2023. He urged the public to disregard speculation regarding his potential pursuit of an NDC nomination for the upcoming 2028 electoral cycle.
