Tea Tairović and husband survive serious crash in Montenegro

Serbian pop star Tea Tairović and her husband Ivan Vardaj were involved in a serious traffic accident on the night of 4‑5 August on a roundabout at the entrance to Budva, Montenegro. Their car suffered extensive material damage, but both escaped with no serious injuries.

Witnesses reported a loud impact and rushed to assist the couple before police and emergency services arrived. The road was described as narrow, unlit and lacking proper markings. The accident involved only their vehicle; no other cars were involved. After confirming she was not seriously hurt, Tairović continued to a scheduled concert, which started with a slight delay. Vardaj remained at the scene for the police investigation and related procedures. The exact cause of the crash remains unclear.
