Teacher dismissed in Belo Horizonte after student misconduct incident

A teacher at the Celmar Botelho Duarte State School in Belo Horizonte has been dismissed following allegations of misconduct involving a student. Security camera footage reportedly shows the teacher rubbing an exam paper against the student's face.

The Minas Gerais State Secretariat of Education (SEE/MG) confirmed that the educator, who was working under a contract regime, has been removed from the public service staff. A Simplified Administrative Process (PAS) has been opened to conduct a detailed investigation into the incident.

The student's mother reported the incident to the school director, who recorded the complaint in the school minutes to initiate administrative measures. The Civil Police of Minas Gerais is currently investigating the case through the Specialized Police Station for the Protection of Children and Adolescents in Belo Horizonte.
