Teacher missing in Várzea Grande after seen on motorcycle

Breno Antonio Humberto de Moraes, a 25-year-old teacher, has been missing since Saturday night in Várzea Grande, Mato Grosso. Security footage from the Capela do Piçarrão neighborhood shows the young man walking near a school before meeting a man and leaving on a motorcycle.

His twin brother, Bruno, has dismissed theories that the man on the motorcycle was a ride-hailing driver. Bruno stated that Breno appeared to know the individual, noting that Breno was already wearing a helmet and seemed to greet the man and hand him something. The family believes Breno had pre-arranged the meeting.

Adding to the mystery, Bruno reported receiving messages from Breno’s phone that felt uncharacteristic. When he requested a photo to verify his brother's safety, the individual sent an image that Bruno believes was manipulated by artificial intelligence, noting that the photo failed to show Breno’s known arm tattoos. The family is seeking any information regarding his whereabouts.
